Jing Fang, MD
In
addition to psychiatry, Jang furthered her understanding of the connection
between mind and body by studying traditional Chinese medicine, also known as
TCM. In doing so, she learned that TCM
embraces the mind/body/spirit in a way that complements and solidifies her
practice.
Jing works part-time in a group private practice in South New Jersey and part-time at a public mental health center in urban Philadelphia, PA. She strives to be professional, yet warm and friendly, and to treat patients with kindness and respect, allowing for optimum results in caring for each individual.
In her private practice Jing is able to apply an integrative approach in the treatment of individuals with a variety of issues ranging from life change issues, depression and bi-polar disorders, anxiety disorders and phobias, psychotic disorders, trauma and post-traumatic stress disorders, chronic fatigue syndrome, fibromyalgia, pain, and addictions. Jing’s integrative methods of treatment include medication, acupuncture, relaxation and stress reduction techniques, and various therapies, including, but not limited to, supportive therapy, cognitive and behavioral therapy, interpersonal therapy, and psychodynamic therapy.
